Dive into the rich history of George and Frederick Cooper. We'll have opportunities to share family stories, photos, and trace our roots together. Bring your own tales to share! Also a memory stick to download information and images.
Activities for all rellies
From visiting the Kempsey Museum for a special display, cemeteries at Frederickton, West Kempsey and East Kempsey as well as looking for the properties on which our rellies settled . Make the most of your time together in the Macleay Valley.

In 1858 three Cooper brothers left Elvedon UK as assisted immigrants to Australia. They arrived in Sydney on the Grande Tianon [Frederick & William] and the David McIver [George] with their families. Two of the brothers George William and Frederick George eventually settled in the Macleay Valley, George in Frederickton and Frederick at Christmas Creek. The third brother William settled in the Nambucca Valley.
Arrangements are now well underway to hold the “Get Together” to be held in Kempsey between 11 and 13 September 2026. If you can help in any way please contact Peter C.
